Numbering warning
This series has the strangest numbering system in comic history. Marvel held a countdown of the top issues of all time. And although it's titled the Top 100, the series only includes the top 25 stories. But, wait! It gets stranger.
The first issue (#1) was the first of the series, and it printed stories #22 -25.
Issue #2 printed #18-21.
Issue #3 printed #14-17.
Issue #4 printed #10-13.
Issue #5 printed #6-9.
Issue #6 printed #5, a reprint of X-Men (1991 series) #1.
